At Cheesefarm, true cheese enthusiasts and passionate artisans are at work.
We craft our cheese:
From high-quality Jersey cow milk
This milk contains at least 5% fat. Rich, sweetly creamy, and viscous, it’s incomparable to regular store-bought milk and resembles buffalo milk in its properties — the very milk traditionally used for cheesemaking in Italy!
By hand
Even the finest raw ingredient (milk) can be ruined during production. The result could be something closer to modeling clay than to real cheese. To achieve the perfect consistency and that unmistakable texture, we avoid machines and mechanical equipment. The fresh cheeses at Cheesefarm are created daily by the skilled hands of our talented cheesemakers.
In our own production facilities and directly in our restaurant kitchens
Every night, our artisans craft cheeses that are ready for you by morning. Mozzarella, for example, isn’t even cooked until 6 AM. By 8 AM, it’s fresh and ready for your breakfast!

All Cheesefarm products are made without additives or preservatives. The maximum shelf life of our cheeses is 5–7 days under proper storage conditions. Although our cheeses rarely sit in the fridge for long, we still recommend enjoying them within 72 hours from the production date indicated on the package. This way, you can savor each variety and experience the full spectrum of flavors.
How to store cheese properly?
If you decide to wait a couple of days before tasting your cheese:
1. Create a dedicated “cheese shelf” in your refrigerator. It’s best if it’s located away from the freezer compartment, as cheese “doesn’t like” the cold. The optimal storage temperature
is 5–7°C. Also, avoid keeping cheese on the refrigerator door, where frequent opening and closing cause excess humidity.
2. Use special containers for storage. Leaving cheese uncovered is definitely not the way to store such a delicate product. It will absorb surrounding odors and lose its own aroma. Brined cheeses are best kept in their brine, in Cheesefarm’s sealed plastic containers. Slices of other cheeses should be wrapped tightly in food-grade plastic wrap and placed in a container—preferably enamel or glass—without sealing it completely airtight. A simple sugar cube inside the container can help absorb excess moisture!
Cheese is an art form. It can be studied, savored, and enjoyed — but never unloved.
